The Bureau Technique pour le Développement has been established in 1984. Its main activity consists in undertaking planning, prefeasibility and feasibility studies, preliminary designs and detailed designs as well as construction supervision services in Municipal infrastructure and rural development sectors such as water supply, wastewater, storm water, environment, water resources, agriculture and irrigation, soil investigation, tunnels, roads, water and wastewater treatment, marine investigations and studies, surface and groundwater resources management studies, water and wastewater tarification studies.

B.T.D. staff includes planners, engineers (hydraulic, civil, structural, electromechanical, renewable energy, surge analysts, transportation, process, environmental, agriculture and irrigation), geologists and hydrogeologists, groundwater modelers, geotechnical engineers, economists, statisticians, financial analysts, GIS experts and marine science specialists all of them having a broad local and international experience and are constantly up to date with the latest techniques to solve specific problems in their respective fields.
